* Steffen Cornehl designs and manufactures all of his watches from a small studion in Stuttgart, Germany. He produces around 20-30 watches per year and each one is handmade to the finest detail using traditional techniques and methods. With a passion for antique clocks and vintage watches, Steffen focuses his designs on the classical styles of the 18th Century through to the 20th Century. All watches use a base Unitas 6498 manual wind movement with handmade 3/4 bridge with gold chatons, swan-neck fine adjustment escapement and finished in a beautiful golden frost effect. With stunning dials and handmade hands, each Cornehl watch is a true testament to the beauty of independent watchmaking.
* The Regulator is based on the traditional regulator clocks which first started to appear around the 18th century. With hand finished, blued hands seperated around the dial (minute hand in the centre of the dial, hour hand within a sub-dial at 12 o'clock and seconds hand by 6 o'clock) the regulator design is beautiful way of displaying time. The 17-jewel mechanical movement; visible through the sapphire glass case-back is housed within a polished, 40mm stainless steel case and comes fitted to a 22mm black leather strap on pin buckle.

Steffen Cornehl works out of a small studio in Stuttgart, Germany, where he restores antique clocks and vintage watches, while slowly building a following of dedicated enthusiasts for his own watches – Cornehl.
Steffen’s watches are based on a pocket watch movement from the 1970s: the Unitas 6498. This movement is very reliable, and its design is very robust. On average, spending around 35-40 hours on each movement, including making the hands, producing a handmade ¾ bridge with gold chatons and swan-neck fine adjustment escapement.
Steffen carries out most of the work himself and is currently producing around 20-30 pieces a year.
With stunningly simple yet beautiful designs, Cornehl watches perfectly encapsulate what is so special about independent watchmaking today: handmade, personal and unique.
