These brand new releases from Austrian manufacturer Habring² sees Felix and Erwin given a distinctly British facelift.

Released in partnership with sole UK retailer Stewart’s, these UK limited edition pieces have been produced in honour of the vast British marine navigational history. Both Felix and Erwin take design cues from the beautiful, clean white dialled marine watches worn during the 1940s, which were used to measure time against the on-board marine chronometers. The white lacquer dial references the older enamel dials previously used, creating a truly brilliant white base upon which black Arabic numerals are applied, luminescent filled “syringe” shaped hands are used and luminescent reference points in mint green adorn the outer edge of the dial to create an easily readable and timelessly simple wristwatch.

Felix features the Habring² in-house A11, manual wind movement with small second sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position – in this instance, with a silvered circular grain finish and housed inside a 38.5mm polished case with satin barrel. At just 8mm in height, this watch fits perfectly on any wrist and the naturally treated tan brown strap perfectly compliments the dial.

Erwin houses the new A11MS manual wind movement incorporating a truly unique dead beat centre second hand which ticks as opposed to the traditional sweep of a standard mechanical watch. Housed inside a 38.5mm case with 9mm depth, sapphire crystal is used top and bottom, the latter showing the unique in-house movement.

Limited to only 10 pieces per model, these incredibly rare watches are almost certain to become collector’s pieces in the future.
Felix will retail for £4050 whilst Erwin will retail for £5000. Both are exclusively available through Stewart’s.
