* The new 415 ES combines the timeless design of its original 60s predecessor with modern materials and technologies, re-maining true to the brand's rich history while meeting today's demands. The original 415 ES was first presented in the mid-1960s and introduced two special features for the first time in the brand's history: a chronograph with a bi-directional rotating bezel with 60-minute graduations and the striking, sporty wing logo.

* The new 415 ES has a black dial with totalisers at 3 and 9 o'clock. The tachymeter scale on the outer edge of the dial helps to measure speed over a set distance. The dial of the 415 ES bears the historic "wing logo", a symbol that Hanhart used as an official logo during the 1960s to rejuvenate and modernize its appearance - this is the first time in over 40 years that this special logo has been used on a Hanhart wristwatch.

* With today's new edition, Hanhart has revived the model in a historically correct case size of 39mm diameter although the aim of the new edition was not to create an exact copy of the old watch, but to retain the classic design and equip it with modern materials and a new movement to give the watch state-of-the-art technology. Inside, the 415 ES uses the proven Sellita SW 510 M to ensure reliable and accurate timekeeping. The case is also anti-magnetic, providing additional protection against external influences. The watch is shockproofed, featuring Hanhart's movement damping as an additional layer of shock protection, ensuring reliable performance even in rugged environments. The chronograph has a manual winding mechanism and two symmetrical pushers for easy operation. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar / 10 ATM. In addition, the Super-LumiNova® X1 coated indices, numerals and hands are easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.

Tradition and Expertise since 1882.

Hanhart first began trading on July 1st 1882 when Swiss watchmaker Johann A. Hanhart opened a watch shop in Diessenhofen, north-east Switzerland. The company quickly re-located to Schwenningen, southern Germany in 1902 and found instant success in 1924 with their first affordable, mechanical stopwatch. By 1938, Hanhart were a pioneer in the production of mechanical chronograph wristwatches, designed for pilots and by the 1960s had also moved into fine timing for sports events and motor racing.

Today, Hanhart still produce a varied range of wristwatches and fine timing stopwatches, tapping into their rich heritage of mechanical watchmaking know-how to produce pieces of incredible craftmanship and functional good looks.
