* The IWC Doppelchronograph is a name steeped in history. Originally released in the early 90s, the watch became the first mass-produced split seconds chronograph to be released into the market. Previous attempts were difficult and costly to manufacture whilst also liable to malfunction, yet when Richard Habring (now of Habring2 fame) was tasked with the unenviable job of creating a solid and reliable split seconds chronograph movement, he put his trust in the workhorse Valjoux 7750 movement and modified it, heavily! The resulting watch is what you see here - an incredible piece of technical craftmanship and horological history.

* This particular model is the 3713 IWC Doppelchronograph, first released in 1996 and comes fitted to the hard to find "rice grain" bracelet. The watch also comes with IWC box, purchase receipt and IWC service card dated 2009. The watch is in very good condition overall and perfect working order. A wonderful piece!
